Model test programs are conducted for a wide range of government and naval vessels from icebreakers to frigates, and include hydroelastic testing of a modern frigate design. The MDTF (Marine Dynamics Test Facility) is used for testing submarines, submersibles, and AUV's. Physical model testing is supported by state-of- the- art numerical analysis, and full scale trials, and all services are supported by a history of testing vessels for the Canadian Navy, Coast Guard, and the U.S. Coast Guard. This experience provides a comprehensive database of reference material, including the NRC series of frigate hulls.
